Team IT ERPNext Migration Utility

Consultant-operated QuickBooks Online → ERPNext migration tool

The Team IT ERPNext Migration Utility is an internal tool used by Team I.T. LLC to help clients move their accounting data from QuickBooks Online into ERPNext. It is operated by Team IT consultants as part of a migration engagement — it is not a self-service product or a public SaaS application.

What it does

• Connects to a Customer’s QuickBooks Online company only after the Customer explicitly authorizes access through Intuit’s standard OAuth consent screen.
• Reads the accounting data needed for migration: chart of accounts, customers, vendors/suppliers, items, invoices, bills, payments, journal entries, and ledger/report data, along with company configuration metadata.
• Loads and maps that data into ERPNext, and produces reconciliation reports so the Customer can verify balances against the source system.

The Utility requests read access only. It does not create, modify, or delete records in the Customer’s QuickBooks Online company.

How an engagement works

1. Team IT and the Customer scope the migration.
2. The Customer authorizes the connection to its QuickBooks Online company (see Connect / Reconnect).
3. Team IT runs the migration, reconciles the results, and reviews them with the Customer.
4. The Customer reviews and validates the migrated data in ERPNext.
5. Access is disconnected when the engagement is complete (see Disconnect).
